Paraguay-H8 block of 4
A scarce block of 4 x 10 Pesos Fuertes, courtesy of Rolf Lamprecht.

Hiscocks added the following note:

Note. No. 4 was used postally in 1900. I have not seen any values telegraphically used which suggests
that used copies did not come into the public's hands. Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 were variously
overprinted for postal use in 1896 and 1900.

*H4 postally used is mentioned in the 2007 Scott catalog and priced at $5. When available though, asking prices are typically more like H4 mint.
The Yvert et Tellier catalogue gives a more complete listing of the postal use varieties below.

Paraguay-Postal overprints
These are listed in the Scott catalogue as postage stamps (47, 48, 50A and 50B). They are not catalogued highly, 40c to $2.50 used.

Some varieties of these courtesy of Rolf Lamprecht.

Columbus Anniversary   Columbus Anniversary
The stamp on the left was advertised as telegraphically used. The telegraph stamps are unknown telegraphically used, so this got my attention.
It turns out that this set was issued on October 12, 1892, the 400th Anniversary of Columbus arriving in America.
On that day, 6 stamps of this set were issued, but the 10c was issued with a special hand-stamp as shown on the right.
The violet hand-stamp reads 1492 / 12 DE OCTUBRE / 1892 and they were only sold with this on the first day of issue.
10c stamps sold subsequent to this (until 1896) were sold punched to prevent fraudulent overprinting.
So not everything punched is telegraphic.
